About Sona Sauna

Sona Sauna is a wood-fired beach sauna at Ceann Trá (Ventry), on the Dingle Peninsula in West Kerry.

I’m Tom, the person behind it. I started Sona Sauna after moving from Dublin to West Kerry and swapping life in advertising for something a little hotter.

What began with a Lithuanian-style barrel sauna by the sea has grown into a place for locals and visitors to come together, slow down, heat up and, if they’re feeling brave, cool straight back down in the Atlantic.

The idea is simple: proper wood-fired heat, an incredible location and a relaxed atmosphere. No complicated wellness rituals and no experience required.

Come for the sauna. Stay for the view. Jump in the sea.
